Emptiness

*well I was on a trek to find more poems... one specifically... and ran into this WOW.  yea. Tribute to where I was and how far I have come.  What happened here?  Well if I told you then it kinda ruins the interpretation of it.  Though something similar happened recently and yea.  I felt those same feelings* 



emptiness

you were there

now gone

nothing remains

but emptiness resides

missing your heartbeat

quiet without you

screams of pain

echo inside my head

tears fill my eyes

still so quiet without you

never prepared to let you go

not part of the plan

not regretting one moment

i continue to love you

one moment

life changing

brought me you

before i could catch my breath

you were gone

emptiness remains

eyes filled with tears

missing your heartbeat

continuing to love
