The tale of last night

Writer's note: With more than 9 years inbetween posts.... there is another site, but I'm still wanting the poetry, mostly here. That being said, let's goooooo! And hopefully it doesn't take me another 9 years to post the next one. Also it is to be said, anything above the dividing line, are just thoughts; less formal blog posts. Though, I started another one of those and unpublished the other. ======= 9/10 Written in the sheets of a hotel bed another chapter of us Different than before A prologue to a friendship possibility of a prequel to a love story Time will decide you and me Mmmmm Tale of last night laughs at the movie The sarcastic banter Leading to A kiss that stole our breath Your lips, tongue, and teeth on my neck sweet smell of your skin Combined Salty taste of you Intoxicating neither could get enough Grasping on to hope like those sheets white knuckles muffled screams into the pillow Praying the fall for you is less climatic But just as satisfying
