broken promises
empty phrases
dates that never happened
lonely nights
waiting on your call or text

double standards
impossible expectations
realizing it must be lonely
in YOUR world

I understand your need
for a distraction
why use people
the golden rule?

not sure who you are lying to
you, me, or all
the others that surround
why front? 
why the head games?

must be lonely in your world
